Movie Review: The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part by Gleb Nebesny

Writer's picture: Baby HarbourBaby Harbour

An intrinsically beautiful and tear evoking experience my family and I were on the edges of our seats as the 1 hour 47 minute blockbuster unfolded. My little 5 year old daughter has since requested to buy all the LEGO she sets her little child eyes on. I am honestly starting to dislike this movie now.

But in retrospect the direction that Mike Mitchell decided to take this movie is one that tells the story of a beautiful friendship and an action packed story that never fails to excite and stimulate the brain.

For those who can't bear to spend 2 hours watching movies meant for children, I promise you that buying that extra ticket won't disappoint. I wholeheartedly recommend taking your family out for a Saturday retreat and finishing the day with a seance of The LEGO movie.
